Seascapes to restore. I love the sea, wherever it is, near or far, it heals and refreshes. 

Time in the woodland, or by the sea, or finding a solitary tree on the horizon, trees come in all shapes and sizes, without them I would be a lesser person.

Photographing rural life on self funded research trips. A passion of mine, visiting people in rural places. Some isolated. A theme I Identify with, having lived on a farm on the edge of Holderness.

Writing is also a time to step away from the everyday and put myself in a different place, I love to write on the beach or in a place where the horizon stretches on forever. Or simply when I want another creative way to express what's going in inside.

Photographic, abstract observations of the church interior whilst the Pinnacle Conservation Ltd., stonemasons work on the interior of St Augustine's Church, Skirlaugh in the East Riding of Yorkshire, prior to its recent reopening. 

Landscape offers time out. Spend some time with me, visiting some of my favourite places.

A landscape and seascape in blue. Something different, something to sooth the soul. This project helped to focus on the beauty in everyday Holderness.

Writing, teaching, experimental mixed media and photography. Take time out to create. I aim to offer a space for people to simply 'be', away from the everyday. Indoors and outdoors. Time out just for you. 

Photographs taken whilst looking closely at the detail that surrounds us. The textures, light and shade of life. Taking abstract photographs focusses my viewpoint on places I often pass by in the rush to be somewhere, making the time to stop.
